The Intern, Digital Media Position

Sunnova’s Summer Internship Program (SSIP) is a 10-week program for undergraduate juniors and/or seniors from an accredited university. SSIP is designed to accelerate professional growth by providing training, exposure and experience in a variety of key functional areas that impact our business. This position offers real-world experience that enables interns to put everything they've learned into action.

This summer internship position is in the Marketing department and will work closely with Digital Paid Media & Web Content SEO Managers. The goal for this position is to define strategic opportunities of how digital paid, organic & owned channel efforts can optimally work together to maximize lead generation performance. The intern will identify audiences, markets, and product categories where digital paid media is or is not performing well in order to inform organic SEO content strategies. Through analysis of consumer digital trends, digital paid & organic competitive landscapes, and the marketing lead-generation funnel (impressions, clicks, web sessions & leads), the intern may implement paid campaigns or SEO enhancements. At the end of the 10 weeks, the intern will present his/her recommendations on audience targeting, product messaging, SEO content, or digital campaigns to improve lead generation results.


Intern, Digital Media Responsibilities

·        Analyzes digital paid media & SEO performance through Google Ads, Facebook, Google Analytics, SEMRush and Salesforce
·        Implements paid media or SEO enhancements such as ad copy changes, creative refreshes, keyword reviews and audits, expands content links, and more
·        Conducts performance analyses of digital channels and marketing lead generation funnel
 

Minimum Requirements

·        Junior or Senior in undergraduate school, or first year graduate student in Marketing or Business Administration
·        Strong analytical skills
·        Strong interpersonal and communication skills
·        Average 3.5 GPA, on a 4.0 grading scale
 

Preferred Qualifications

·        Previous experience in energy is a plus

·        Demonstrates experience with data collection, analysis, and management
·        Strong problem-solving skills
·        Passion for clean energy and renewables
