Intern II, Software
Position Overview:
Our Software Engineer Intern participates in all aspects of the software development process, from architecture and design to implementation, coding, and testing. They also assist in product design, research & analysis, and application support & availability.
Responsibilities:
- Work with software engineers to create simple tools for the group.
- Work with software testing to create test scripts and execute using automation tools.
- Research solutions to software defects and recommending solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
- Improve upon current skills while also developing and mastering new technical skills
Qualifications:
- Undergrad (BS/BA) or Graduate (MS) degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Bioinformatics
- Object Oriented, Data-Driven Software Application Development experience required
- Experience/familiarity with .NET, C#, VBSCRIPT, Java Script, API
- Familiarity with SQL is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in HLA field is a plus
