Cybersecurity/Infrastructure Project Management Intern (Open)

Internship Summary:
The Project Manager Intern will have responsibility in leading project(s) in the exciting field of cybersecurity and infrastructure. The project management intern will be expected to implement solutions and drive results in support of our mission in protecting our company, colleagues, and products.
Key Responsibilities/Learning:
  • Develop and analyze requirements while working with IT teams to develop well-reasoned and executive level project justifications and charter(s)
  • Actively handling projects on a day to day basis through appropriate resource, issue, and risk management.
  • Help track accomplishments and show return on investment via risk reduction, regulatory compliance, data/system protection, identification of threats, and/or productivity gains
  • Create presentations on success of projects and CIS program initiatives, as well as raise, explain, and offer solutions when risks/issues to projects are causing failure or inability to complete on time or budget.
  • Demonstrate ability to become proficient in project management and program support
  • Build project documentation (project plans, project presentations, meeting notes)
  • Deliver results/metrics timely and within budget
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Basic/Intermediate Project Management knowledge
  • Basic/Intermediate security knowledge
  • Strong communication & problem-solving skills
  • Basic Financial skills
  • Business, Project Management, Computer science or computer security related undergraduate degree
  • Any level of undergraduate or graduate degree experience
  • Applicable certifications: CAPM, PMP, CISSP, Security+
