About the Role
Are you a recent Life Science graduate looking to build your career and gain some experience outside the lab? Want to be part of a fast-growing team located at the heart of the number one hub for biotech and Life Sciences in the country? Read on.
Our US division is rapidly expanding. As part of this growth, we have just opened our third US office in Somerville, MA, and we are looking for talented Life Science graduates to hit the ground running in an entry level business development role. By joining our recently established, friendly team, you will play an important role in establishing our positive and driven culture at our newest office location.
As a Business Development Representative with ChemoMetec US:
  • You will develop sales and customer skills, which will form a solid foundation for future career growth
  • You will gain experience working with Life Science companies at the forefront of medical science and build a strong understanding of the industry

Main Responsibilities
  • Seek out new business by creating a virtual network of researchers in the Life Science community
  • Craft and send direct emails and stay on top of other lead generation activities
  • Work with the sales team on developing lead engagement tactics
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM system

The Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, Life Science subject preferred
  • Ability to write well-crafted emails
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience with a CRM e.g. ZOHO is a plus, but not essential
  • Experience with LinkedIn prospecting with Sales Navigator is a plus, but not essential
