Product Marketing Manager

OVERVIEW

Equilar is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to manage product marketing for our business development products - the ExecAtlas Solutions Suite. We have grown a highly successful business on our ability to mine and make sense of public and proprietary data, and we are in the process of expanding our solutions to better serve our clients and grow in new verticals. The person hired for this role will be a key player in leading these efforts, on both a strategic and tactical level.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing a successful market strategy to drive awareness and rapidly grow our ever-expanding suite of solutions. We are looking for a well-rounded marketing athlete with a curiosity to understand the customer journey, the ability to test and implement new strategies, and the organizational skills to manage projects across cross-functional teams. The Product Marketing Associate will implement metrics-driven programs to drive new areas of growth for the business. He or she will join a team of top performers and work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering the best business management solutions for customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
  • Lead the go-to-market strategy and efforts for new solutions and partner launches
  • Create blogs, webinars, whitepapers focused on value propositions and industry trends
  • Manage relationships with channel partners and create relevant collateral 
  • Work with Sales on ad-hoc requests such as tailored decks, one-pagers, and pricing sheets
  • Work closely with product managers on enhancements and own the content schedule on communications
  • Coordinate with Marketing Operations and Design on email and social campaigns, target lists and campaign follow up strategies
  • Develop and align on-site and off-site marketing plans/events in collaboration with channel partners and the broader sales and marketing teams.
  • Articulate the user journey, uncover user insights, and identify key user needs to focus product roadmaps on the largest business opportunities
  • Define the target audience, craft clear positioning statements and clearly articulate and communicate the unique value proposition 
  • Lead analysis of product marketing tactics and their impact to the business and make recommendations that continually improve the efficacy of go-to-market plans
 
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  •  2-4 years of product marketing experience, ideally with tenure at a SaaS, B2B marketing, or digital marketing company.
  • Ability to work well with and project manage cross-functional teams
  • Ability to develop and execute strategies and tactics for a brand or product
  • Create key value props, collateral, field enablement, naming, website copy, pricing, etc. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship building and leadership abilities
  • Demonstrated attention to detail 
  • Proven track record of executing under tight time constraints
  • Self-starter with the ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to meet goals and achieve results
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
 
  • BA/BS degree 
  • PMP Certification is a plus
