Overview
Lovelace Biomedical Research Institute is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Research Associate within the Pharmacology group.
The Research Associate will serve as a key staff member in the implementation and conduct of studies related to the evaluation of novel therapeutics/approaches targeted towards allergy and dermatological diseases. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for all aspects of planning/coordinating, implementation of procedures, assays and the generation of data. The individual will be responsible for the performance of multiple different concurrent scientific projects simultaneously. This position is also responsible for following regulatory compliance (FDA, GLP, ES&H, etc.), and interfacing with staff and investigators who utilize this lab, and performing all other related duties and tasks as required or assigned.
The position will work side by side with other members of the lab in a team environment in the conduct of complex studies and will handle animals and biological specimens in a dynamic research environment that is employing techniques in pharmacology, physiology, immunology, toxicology, and cell/gene therapy.
Qualifications
Requires a masters degree in a related scientific discipline and a minimum of 2 years demonstrated research experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained.

Salary
Salary is commensurate with experience.
