Work Study: Student Associate for Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) office
Join a team that supports students with disabilities across campus. You will provide front desk, data entry, and administrative assistance to Services for Students with Disabilities.
Essential functions: Assist with administrative tasks, accommodated testing, and scanning books for alternative text conversion. Proactively maintain professional appearance of office suite. General office support including, but not limited to, assistance with file organization and assisting all office visitors.
Qualifications:
Required: Excellent interpersonal and proactive communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Professional demeanor and attire. Punctual and dependable. Familiarity with basic office software (Microsoft Office) and equipment.
Preferred: Experience providing excellent customer service. Experience staffing front desk of professional office. Desire for full academic year employment. Familiarity with FERPA policy.
Student associates maintain a regular, set schedule throughout the semester. We currently need someone who is available now and during the summer semester for 10-15 hours a week. The work schedule will be Monday - Thursday between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you are reappointed for the future semesters, your hours might be different, depending on your course schedule.
