Product Management Intern

Position Summary:
The Product Management Intern will work with the Product Management and Marketing teams to complete projects in the areas of market, competitor, supplier, and opportunity analysis. The role will ensure our portfolio meets the needs of our dynamic customer base to achieve the annual revenue and profitability growth plan.

Position Summary:
The Product Management Intern will work with the Product Management and Marketing teams to complete projects in the areas of market, competitor, supplier, and opportunity analysis. The role will ensure that our portfolio meets the needs of our dynamic customer base, to achieve the annual revenue and profitability growth plan.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize financial data to understand growth trends and margin expansion opportunities within market segments and product categories
  • Use external data and reports to create market and competitive analyses
  • Generate centralized database for market data, supplier data, and opportunity analysis
  • Utilize opportunity analysis to collaborate with Product Management to develop key supplier business plans with a significant focus on increasing sales and margins
  • Align opportunities with the marketing and product management teams on the development of a marketing plan, digital and promotional strategies
  • Support ongoing updates to dashboards, portfolio management reporting processes, and other internal communications processes
Candidate Experience, Qualifications & Competencies:
  • Current student working towards a bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, life sciences, pre-med, or other relevant area
  • Understands basic business financial terms and fundamentals
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analysis and interpretation of data skills, using Microsoft Excel
