Student Technology Assistant- Technology Integration, AV & IOT
The Liberal Arts ITS Technology Projects Team is currently looking for a Student Technical Assistant to assist our group with Technology Integration specifically in the fields of AV and IOT for the Spring 2023 semester and beyond.
The Security Student Technical Assistant will perform the following job functions;
- Assist with auditing and analyzing existing installed IOT/AV equipment using manufacturer-specific or industry-standard software tools.
- Assist with the installation of technology systems in classrooms, meeting rooms, and auditoriums.
- Assist with configuring new and existing systems to meet defined security standards.
- Gather and organize the information necessary to complete job duties.
- Assist with receiving equipment from vendors.
- Assist in maintaining accurate warehouse inventory
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interest in Cyber Security, AV, IOT, and other technologies
- General understanding of computer networks.
- Strong attention to detail
- Self Motivated/Eager to Learn
- Knowledge of Audio, Video or Computer Equipment
- Computer Programming experience
- API Integration experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
