Planning Coordinator

How will you make an impact?
You will learn about end to end site operations in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and enable the team to deliver life-saving medicines to our clients and patients via execution of the site’s Supply Chain strategy and achievement of material readiness and on-time delivery. You will train on and utilize the site’s ERP system (SAP), scheduling systems, spreadsheet applications, and planning techniques to ensure timely batch documentation and material release and fulfillment of on time / in full, financial, and readiness metrics!
What will you do?
  • Enables achievement of project timelines for PDS materials, work in process, and finished product through regular attendance in team meetings, creation of material masters, etc.
  • Performs SAP data entry for all materials and product routings based on PR forms.
  • Leads printing and release of batch production records and packaging line records.
  • Assists Demand Planners with debit memo and unplanned requisition coordination and approvals.
  • Coordinates incoming materials due dates to assure their readiness by the scheduled manufacturing and/or packaging dates. Represents PDS with respect to batch readiness along with the respective PDS Project Managers.
  • Initiates and maintains SAP data accuracy for assigned materials, along with SOR data.
  • Works with cross-functional areas of the site (PM/BM, QC lab, Tech Services) to achieve targets.

How will you get here?
Education
  • Pursuing Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or another business or technical field preferred.
Experience:
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills required.
  • Experience in enterprise business systems and business software (specifically, SAP) is helpful.
Equivalency:
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

Physical Requirements:
Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor and read materials for prolonged periods of time.
