Copyeditor/Administrative Assistant

Seeking a resourceful, confident, detail-oriented Text Processor/Administrative Assistant to support principals and provide general office support for Gradient, a dynamic national consulting firm. The successful candidate in this multi-faceted role must anticipate needs, work well with a range of personalities, collaborate with other administrative staff in offices across the country, and be comfortable being the go-to person for a range of tasks to keep the office running smoothly. Strong organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills are essential; IT experience a plus. Hours can be flexible (30-40 hours/week), with the majority of the hours being in person at the office. Professional development opportunities available. Excellent benefits, friendly work environment, and great location in downtown Seattle. 

General Responsibilities:
• Create, format, proofread, and edit documents
• Improve documents for readability, clarity, and consistency
• Apply in-house formatting and style standards
• Prepare manuscripts for submission; review and correct proofs
• Respond to document production requests; help manage project documents
• Assist with meeting and video/conference call set up
• Coordinate catering for meetings
• Create expense reports
• Process ingoing/outgoing mail and perform general office duties
• Provide scheduling/calendar management; make travel arrangements
• Copying, filing, and other general Admin work as needed

Desired Experience, Skills, and Education:
• 2-5 years relevant professional experience
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• College degree preferred
