Macquarie Capital Summer Internship 2022, Equities Division, Hong Kong

Joining Macquarie’s Summer Internship program is a unique opportunity to work as an integral member of our team for your entire placement. You will be sitting side-by-side with business leaders and learning from live projects and transactions. 

The Macquarie Equities Summer Internship is an exciting and rewarding 10-week program during which you will be placed with either the Research team, or the Sales & Trading team. In the Research placement, you will work within a high-performing analyst team to contribute to publishing insightful reports that assist our clients to make investment decisions. You will be exposed to in-depth company analysis and develop market analysis and financial modelling skills. Should you join the Sales & Trading placement, you will develop a solid understanding of equity markets while working on a live trading floor. You will work as part of a team to formulate investment ideas, monitor trade execution, and perform analysis on financial data. In either placement, you will also have the opportunity to participate in challenging projects as part of a successful team. During the program you will join other Macquarie Summer Interns in orientation and training sessions, networking, mentorship pairings, and other program events. We’re looking for students who are completing their bachelor’s or master’s degree in 2022/2023. You’ll possess a strong interest in financial services, deep curiosity about what drives current market activity, and the passion to work in our Equity Trading and Research teams in Hong Kong. Successful candidates will have strong academic performance, and involvement in extracurricular and community activities. Fluency in English is essential, while fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a strong plus. Students must have eligibility to work in Hong Kong to participate in the Summer Internship Program. If you have the drive, confidence and are ready to learn in a dynamic and exciting field, apply now.
