Kangaroo Krossing Attendant

San Antonio Zoo is looking to hire an entry-level part-time Kangaroo Krossing Attendant to join our zoo family! Are you a great storyteller? We are a year-round operation; this position requires a flexible schedule to work weekends, holidays, and occasionally after hours for special assignments. Our Kangaroo Krossing work schedule, a rotating weekly schedule, and the hourly rate for this position is $8.82.

As a Kangaroo Krossing Attendant, is an entry-level into animal care, you will maintain a safe environment for both the animals and the guests. You will perform various tasks related to the handling and care of animals and their habitats. You will also provide educational information to the public through structured, professional presentations and informal conversations.
