The City of Madison Engineering Division is moving to the cloud to provide a seamless experience for everyone involved in the planning, design, construction, and operations of the City’s infrastructure and buildings. Join our team as our Computer Aided Design (CAD)/Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator and lead our digital transformation!
The Engineering Division design, builds, operates, and maintains the City’s streets, paths, sanitary sewers, storm sewer and drainage facilities, and city-owned buildings. his is journey-level professional work in the development and support of a cloud based design and construction management solution to connect workflows, teams and data throughout all stages of design and construction to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. This work is characterized by the following:
- Exercise of technical and professional judgment.
- The broader application of professional engineering expertise.
- The proficiency in the operational and procedural aspects of the work.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Deputy Division Manager and involves the exercise of considerable independent judgment and product development.
