Optometric Assistant

A boutique optical in central Austin is looking for an outstanding individual to join our team.

Our office is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and we are seeking a person that is an effective communicator and prides his / herself on attention to detail.

Strong computer skills are a necessity in this position. Experience candidates are preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. This a full-time position and we are looking for an employee with availability from 9:30-6 pm M-F.

Performing preliminary testing on patients prior to being seen by the doctor.

Answering the phone and scheduling appointments

Training patients on contact lens insertion and removal

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
