YMCA 2-3 Year Old Lead Teacher
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 9 am to 6 pm with pay between $13-18 an hour depending on experience. Locations in Round Rock or Pflugerville.
Do you have experience working in a licensed child care environment? If you are at least 18 years old with a high school diploma and have experience creating and implementing engaging curriculum this opportunity might be right for you!
The YMCA of Greater Williamson County is looking for an exceptionally creative, professional, and enthusiastic person to join our preschool as our new 3-year-old Teacher!
What will they be doing?
- Meet the developmental needs of up to 15 students in a compassionate, patient manner
- Develop a play-based lesson plan that is challenging and age appropriate
- Observing each child to help improve social competencies and build self-esteem
- Guide assistant teacher in facilitation
- Help children gain the confidence to come up with conflict resolutions independently
- Communicate with parents of students daily
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
