Intern - Network Engineer
Location -
Austin, TX (must be able local to Austin in order to work onsite once office reopens)
Duration -
Must be available to work on-site for a minimum of 6 months (virtual to start and until offices reopen)
Position Summary -

Atos is seeking hardworking, creative students to join our team to support a large client in the Public Sector & Defense industry. This is your opportunity to increase your knowledge with an internship that offers well-rounded and relevant, hands-on experience.
Responsibilities -
- Perform PC hardware and printer installation, IP installation, imaging of computers, and setup of Microsoft Windows in a network environment.
- Conduct network and software administration, including troubleshooting for end users.
- Provide support for infrastructure changes.
- Provide technical support to end user via telephone, e-mail, or in person.
- Routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
Minimum Qualifications -
- Junior or senior level student enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent degree.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Academic or internship experience in network and software administration
- Academic or internship experience in Routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on a team as well as independently.
- Positive demeanor and passion for technology
Preferred -
- Strong foundation in software, leadership, analytical thinking and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong problem solving and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
- Proven ability to develop technical skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Adaptive skills, learns quickly, asks questions, and solves and resolves independently
