Kennel Technician | Dogs Around Austin

We are looking for a friendly and hardworking individual to join our team! This person will be working directly with all dogs. They will provide and monitor the dogs to make sure all dogs are safe, stimulated, rested and happy. They must share our positive, fear free method. They must consent to complete a handling course with a Certified Canine Behavior Consultant and always use these methods when interacting with the dogs. They must have prior experience as a kennel/vet tech, dog training and/or rescue. Their role will include but not be limited to the following duties:

• Kennel Tech

• Cleaning and Maintaining Kennels, Dog Runs and Play Areas

• Overseeing Dogs

• Rotating from Indoor Play, Outdoor Play & Bathroom Breaks, and Rest

• Supervising and Creating a Happy and Safe Environment for Dogs

• Feeding and Medicating as Instructed

• Dog Walking • Pickups and Drop Offs - Must have reliable transportation

• Pickups and Drop Offs - Must have reliable transportation • Occasional Overnight Shifts

Job Type: Part-time
