Secure Systems Administrator

Required Qualifications:
  • BS degree or equivalent experience in computer science, BIS, engineering, or related computer field
  • Active CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570 IAT Level II
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with degree, or equivalent experience without
  • Strong organizational skills, quick learner, and demonstrated problem solver
  • Able to apply knowledge to complex, practical situations
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with a wide range of internal and external customers
  • Ability and desire to continue learning new skills as system needs grow and change
  • Willing to perform maintenance and support on systems outside of core hours as required
  • Willing to travel if required
  • Willing to take a polygraph if required
  • Must be a US citizen and currently hold an active TS security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI upon hiring

Let us know in your application materials if you possess experience with the following:
  • Experience with DoD mission operations networks
  • Solid Knowledge of DoD Security Requirements within classified spaces
  • Scripting knowledge in various languages such as PowerShell and bash
  • Automated deployment experience with tools such as Ansible
  • Experience with containerized platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
  • Knowledge of Linux environments to include CentOS, RHEL, and Ubuntu
  • Experience with maintaining core network services such as Exchange, VMWare ESXi, Active Directory/LDAP, web servers, DNS, patching, DHCP, configuration management, workstation deployment, storage and backup solutions, routing and switching, firewalls, etc.
  • Understanding of information systems security best practices and use of security tools such as Nessus, SCAP, and applying STIGs
  • Active TS/SCI
