Application Project Leader
The City of Roanoke's Department of Technology is seeking a highly qualified candidate to serve as the Application Project Leader. The selected candidate will perform work involving the development, design, programming and installation of information systems. Gathers and analyzes information for developing and modifying information systems. Designs and specifies systems and methods for installing information systems and supervises or guides their installation.
Makes formal system presentations orally and in writing. Defines systems security and control procedures. Prepares document specifications for input handling and processing, output handling and processing and file formats. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in data processing; five or more years related experience and/or training in computer programming and system design; Project leader experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. SQL-server, ASP.NET, Java, COBOL and Websphere experience a plus.
