Student Technician - Spanish/Portuguese Cataloger (open to work study and non-work-study)

Position Title: Student Technician - Spanish/Portuguese Cataloger

Department: Content Management, UT Libraries

Position is subject to renewal each semester.

Work Schedule: Flexible, between 9am to 5pm

Duties: Basic cataloging for material in Spanish and Portuguese. Search OCLC (National bibliographic database) to search and transfer electronic bibliographic records to UTL local ILS. Assist with shipment preparation for outsourcing.

Required Qualifications: Currently-enrolled student at UT Austin. Reading knowledge of Spanish, and/or Portuguese is required. Exceptional attention to detail. Computer knowledge, and ability to work independently as well as within a group.

Working Conditions: Regular indoor working conditions.

Rate of Pay: $15.00/hour
