PCL Stacks Student Associate (open to work-study or non work-study)

Position Title: PCL Stacks Student Associate

Department: Stacks Maintenance, UT Libraries

Supervisor: David Tucker

Summary: Preparation and shelving of books in the Perry Castaneda Library (PCL).

Position is subject to renewal each semester.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., 10-15 hours per week

Duties: Shelve, shift, shelf read, pick up & distribute books in PCL, prepare RTS (ready-to-shelve) trucks by arranging books in call number order.

Required Qualifications: Currently-enrolled student at UT Austin.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous library experience.

Working Conditions: Regular indoor working conditions.

Rate of Pay: $8.05/hour
