Recruitment Services Support Specialist
McCombs School of Business

Every year, employers from across the country recruit at the McCombs School of Business. The Recruitment Services team partners with these recruiters to assist them with their needs while they are on campus to hold information sessions or conduct interviews at the Ford Career Center (FCC). Recruitment Services is now hiring a student worker Support Specialist to assist with these efforts in the coming school year.


Job Details:
Job title: Recruitment Services Support Specialist
Hours: 10-15 hrs/week in Fall semester
Duration: Fall 2021 or just the first 8 weeks of Fall 2021, with possibility to continue into the spring semester
Hiring Department: McCombs Recruitment Services
Job type: part-time, on campus
Pay: $10.00/hour


Responsibilities:
  • Create a positive experience for visiting recruiters.
  • Set up equipment and help recruiters before, during, and after company events (such as information sessions and virtual office hours)
  • Assist with closing duties in the interview center: restocking supplies, closing interview rooms, and assisting students as needed
  • Prepare recruiting materials for interviews and assist with front desk operations
  • Assist staff with data entry, generating and compiling report data into spreadsheets/tables, and other duties as needed
  • Provide support for special recruiting events: organize, package, and deliver event materials and assist during events
 
Qualifications:
  • Articulate, professional, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent customer service skills; enjoy interacting with a wide variety of people
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic administrative skills (e-mail, photocopier, etc.)
  • Punctual/consistent attendance
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
 
Additional details:
  • Shifts consist of day shifts and evening shifts
  • 1-5 hour shifts between 10 am - 7 pm; Monday – Wednesday (occasional Thursday)
  • Hours fluctuate and are determined by recruiting cycles
