BES Internship Program - Engineering Services (Engineering Trainee)
The Bureau of Environmental Services is seeking an intern for their Engineering Services group! The first application review consists of all applications received by 11:59 pm 06/15/2021. Applications will be reviewed weekly.
We are looking for a part-time or full-time summer intern, with the potential to extend into a full-year internship as schedules allow. The internship will reside within the Nonconforming Sewer Program (NCS), which is part of the Engineering Services Design Group. This position will perform specialized support and technical assignments of entry-level to moderate difficulty applying scientific and technical knowledge in the areas of engineering, construction, and permit processing, including explaining policies and procedures to the public to achieve understanding, cooperation, and compliance with codes; computer operation, research, map reading, plan review; and performs related duties as assigned.
