Assistant Director of Student Conduct

Assistant Director of Student Conduct (Student Conduct Advisor) will assist the Dean of Students in the management and administration of the university-wide student conduct system. The Assistant Director of Student Conduct will oversee the day-to-day operations of the student conduct process. This oversight will include coordinating disciplinary and administrative functions of due process in a manner that ensures student development, consistent and fair application of University policies and respectful treatment of all participants. Additionally, the Assistant Director of Student Conduct is also responsible for providing outreach and education to the campus community and will serve as an investigator for Title IX cases as needed. Further duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on the needs and goals of the department.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in college student personnel, counseling, higher education, higher education administration, student affairs administration, conflict resolution, or a related field.
2. Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience with a student disciplinary system.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of effective case management techniques including use of campus conduct software programs, such as Maxient or similar.
2. Ability to research information to solve problems, and the ability to work with diverse populations and varying educational levels.
3. Detail oriented; excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, investigation skills, time management skills, conflict resolution skills, and multitasking capabilities.
4. Experience working with underserved populations.
5. Experience with Microsoft Office and web content management software.
