Elementary Autistic Support Teacher (Anticipated)

Qualifications:

A current PA Special Education teaching certificate is required.  

Responsibilities: 

The successful candidate will instruct students in accordance with the goals and specially designed instruction outlined within each student’s IEP.  Responsibilities include providing VB/ABA instruction in an individualized or small group setting for communication, social skills, and behavior support. Knowledge of Verbal Behavior/Applied Behavior Analysis, including behavioral interventions is preferred. Knowledge of specially designed instruction, the MDE process, proficiency in IEP writing, facilitation of IEP meetings, and ability to work with other professionals, including paraprofessionals and related service therapists in a team setting, is required.
