engineering intern with potential to full-time

Work as part of a team to contribute to our energy conservation and building automation projects. Assist engineers to conduct field measurements and perform data analysis on HVAC systems including air handling units, terminal boxes, chilled water distribution systems, chillers, and boilers. Typical clients include hospitals, office buildings, universities, commercial buildings, etc. To be trained to work with various Building Automation Systems (BAS) to read and document control sequences and configurations, and collect data from BAS. Assist engineers to write technical reports as required. Perform other duties as assigned and required. Occasional travel is required.  This position may lead to a full time project engineer position.

·       Currently have (or is studying toward) a degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required

·       Competency in written and verbal communications

·       General computer skills are required

·       Knowledge of programming and coding is preferred but not required

·       Knowledge and experience in the field of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) is preferred but not required
