IT Program Analyst - Test Engineer

Fiserv's Technology Analyst Program is an early career development program where candidates experience two one-year assignments in a core functional technology role. Each assignment builds upon the other and together will provide a breadth of experience in the business world and unique to you! As part of Technology Analyst Program, you will have the opportunity to participate in complicated projects that can have significant outcomes in the business while strengthening the skills fundamental to lead in the FinTech industry. Training curriculum, mentoring, on the job learning, and exposure to senior leadership will be offered in these entry-level opportunities to advance within our company upon completing the two-year program.

Summary of Department:
Testing is a critical function with the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). The System Test Team actively engages in requirement design to identify requirements of testing. This understanding empowers the test organization to define and execute a test approach and methodology to support a smooth launch of the application into a production environment.

Job Description:
Develops formal test plans and test cases to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Participates in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. Testing as a general term includes various types of testing; more specifically, testing will include minimally, functional testing, interface testing, and regression testing.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Recent graduates of a bachelor’s degree program  
  • 3.0 + GPA  
  • Must possess the ability to self-direct work efforts, meet deadlines, and produce consistent high-quality work
  • Candidate is expected to be a strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to problem solve effectively, and to think logically.
  • Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communications skills  
  • Strong resourcefulness; a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and flexible to changing priorities

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
