Digital Content Fellowship
Main Street One is a people-first marketing agency. People are a brand’s best marketing channel — both the medium and the message in modern marketing. Having grown up in political and social advocacy, we specialize in socially conscious campaigns for companies, causes, and candidates. Our approach combines technology developed with DARPA that identifies messages audiences already believe with a delivery system powered by a network of 6.3M microinfluencers and content-creators. We’re seeking a Digital Content Fellow to join our fast-growing team.
About the Position:
The Digital Content Fellow works closely with our editorial, technology, and digital relational organizing teams on a variety of clients, projects, and tasks.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate with the editorial team on creating social media content.
- Be “Editor-In-Chief” of client websites by selecting trending and featured stories.
- Publish new content on clients’ Wordpress websites.
- Innovate on new creative ways to repurpose our peer-to-peer content across social media and more.
- Publish new content across and act as a “community manager” for client social media channels.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions.
- Assist in the resizing and cropping of images on Canva.
- Assist the editorial team and digital relational organizing team on content production when necessary.
Qualifications:
This fellowship is aimed at college students (or recent graduates) in their junior and senior years pursuing a degree in marketing or related fields. Basic knowledge of social media management is preferred, Wordpress experience is a plus, and a passion for learning is a must.
This fellowship is fully remote and contract-based, offering a starting salary of $20/hour for an average of 20 hours per week.
