PKS Operator-2nd shift

Overview
The PKS Operator is an entry level, non-exempt position that reports to the PKS Production Manager. The PKS Operator is responsible for operating equipment, producing product that meets Charm Sciences quality control standards and ensuring the product being manufactured is free from defects.

Essential Functions
•            Comply with all Charm Sciences, Inc. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
•            Follow clean room procedures as defined by Charm Sciences.
•            Operate machines.
•            Maintain proper operation of bag sealer machine.
•            Inspect Pocketswabs from machines for quality.
•            Setup and shutdown procedures for machines.
•            Perform data entry
•            Maintain a clean safe work environment at all times.

Accountabilities
•            The person will conduct his/herself in a professional manner at all times.
•            The person must have excellent attention to detail, be reliable performing the inspection by identifying any out of spec product.
•            This person will possess the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
•            This person will possess strong interpersonal skills, be diligent and dependable.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Required:
•            Familiarity with Window and Excel.
•            Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•            Work hours for the PKS Operator vary depending on the shift required to work. 

Preferred:
•            GMP/GLP experience.
•            Bilingual: English/Spanish.

Physical Requirements
•            The person in this position must be able to frequently lift up to 20 pounds.
•            The person in this position must be able to remain stationary for an extended length of time while working at a machine.
•            The person in this position must be able to visually inspect product to detect deviations from CSI standards.
•            The person in this position must possess dexterity to manually load raw materials in production equipment.
•            The person in this position frequently operates production equipment.
