Redbook Marketing Analyst, Market Intelligence Innovation

 
The Redbook Marketing Analyst is responsible for assisting in the sales efforts of Redbook, mba’s market intelligence platform.  This position will also be responsible for assisting the Director in the technical design, development, and management of the digital infrastructure products offered by mba.

The Redbook Marketing Analyst will research and develop leads for the sales team in each of mba’s core aviation industry sector services. In addition, this position will support the finance, business, and valuations entities within the company but will also spend significant efforts gathering intelligence and information from various sources and systems available to the company.
The Redbook Marketing Analyst will use data collected to continuously improve data integrity of mba’s aircraft fleet database. An understanding of commercial aircraft technical characteristics to include aircraft series by model, engine options, and other aircraft differentiating options, as well as a passion for aircraft and the aviation sector, is highly desired.

Duties and responsibilities:
·        Content marketing - Planning, creating automated content for and executing marketing campaigns;
·        Maintaining knowledge of current industry marketing strategies (digital and otherwise);
·        Monitoring and reporting on marketing efforts;
·        Extract and transform marketing data from a range of data sources, including CRM systems, to develop leads;
·        Lead virtual and live demonstrations of mba’s digital systems;
·        Visit potential clients to support sales efforts;
·        Perform daily research to identify aircraft fleet movements between owners, operators, and regions;
·        Perform quality control functions of mba’s fleet database to ensure 100% accuracy of aircraft configuration, ownership, and operator data;
·        Develop relationships with clients and industry sources to receive data feedback with the goal of increasing accuracy of the fleet database;
·        Provide real-time inputs and updates to the fleet database on information data gathered;
·        Prepare presentation packets with outlines, notes, and statistical data; and
·        Updating the digital platforms internal to the company and systems built for the client base on a daily basis.

This position requires significant attention to detail, as well as constant communication with related internal and external organizations. A successful candidate should be outgoing, proactive, possess analytical aptitude, problem-solving skills, work well with others, and learn quickly, as well as, the following:
·        A strong interest in aviation preferred;
·        Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing, Business or other relevant field preferred);
·        Desire to work in a start-up environment, with strong “do it yourself” work ethic. Will work as a team, but will need to be a self-starter on many projects;
·        Proven experience with web analytics tools;
·        Familiarity with marketing automation software or CRM;
·        Must be able to multi-task and handle multiple projects at one time;
·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
·        Ability to create and present information succinctly;
·        HTML familiarity is a plus;
·        Must relocate to Northern Virginia area; and
·        Some travel required.
