Talent Acquisition Intern

This individual will be involved in delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. The position will develop recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as develop new and innovative recruiting ideas. The recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent for each position.

• Ability to identify and generate talent through networking and development of creative sourcing methods.
• Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Strong organization skills.
• Searching/Mining resumes using Job Portals such as Indeed, Monster, Dice.com
• Able to maintain high level of confidentiality
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with employees and the general public.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations, to conduct daily duties in a professional manner.
• Posse’s exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
• Ability to effectively multi-task and adapt to fast paced environment.
• Ability to work collectively with a team.

• Post weekly updates for position openings both via online job boards, company website/intranet, and social media outlets like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn.
• Assists in designing and administering college intern programs, attending job fairs, preparing start date information, system set up, orientation materials.
• Maintain all employee communication boards.
• Facilitate the writing of job descriptions and placing of advertisements for all open positions.
• Helps scheduling interviews.
• Works to develop sourcing techniques, recruitment strategies, process administration as well as consultative abilities.
• Evaluate and provide recommendations on new tools and technologies for internet research and candidate attraction
