Work Study: Cashier - Texas Union Underground (Work study and non-work study available)
*Work Study and regular part-time undergraduate student employment is available for this role*
This position with the Texas Union Underground is an active job requiring excellent customer service skills.
Start Date: May 10. 2021
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Frontline customer service.
- Register operation.
- Assists with inventory and related preparations.
- Assists with maintenance of the Union Undergrounds’ security and presentation.
- Stocks saleable merchandise.
- Assists with maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Outgoing person with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Cash handling experience.
- A willingness to assist others.
In addition to the requirements for the position, you must meet the following requirements to be considered for all positions in the University Unions:
- Be a current student at The University of Texas at Austin or other college/university and be registered for at least six (6) credit hours.
