Office Intern - Accounting & Finance

PAID INTERNSHIP: Office Intern - Accounting & Finance

Assist local, state, and federal government implementation of disaster recovery programs. The position entails basic office administrative duties, account management, and financial reconciliation and auditing.

The preferred intern will be organized with excellent attention to detail. A general understanding of various levels of government, departments and agencies is a plus, along with basic accounting, file management, and database management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Current student with course work in accounting/finance
  • Database management
  • Advanced MS Office and Adobe skills
  • Expertise integrating graphics, imagery, and information display

Typical Activities
  • Note-taking for meetings, internal conference calls & discussions
  • Printing and preparation of meeting materials
  • General office IT support & research
  • Shipping & receiving
  • Proofreading and editing

Location
  • Kingwood, TX

Schedule Options
  • Full time
  • Part time

Compensation
  • $12/hour
