About iRhythm
iRhythm Technologies is a San Francisco-based medical device company that is combining novel diagnostic devices with advanced data analysis concepts to create a new approach to cardiac rhythm monitoring. The products we design shorten patients’ paths to diagnosis and improve their quality of life -- to date, iRhythm’s innovative and clinically proven service has been used by over two million patients.

About Our Co-op
Engineers at iRhythm work passionately to deliver innovative solutions that improve the quality of healthcare and the patient experience. As a Co-op at iRhythm, you will contribute directly to testing and validation efforts for our wearable bio-sensors, collaborating alongside a team of multi-disciplinary engineers experienced in bringing medical devices to market. You will be treated as a regular member of the engineering team, inclusive of the associated projects, deliverables and accountability.

Your tasks will be to characterize, test, and debug PCB (printed circuit board) devices and test systems to support our current and next-generation product line. You have excellent technical, written, and verbal skills, love to solve problems, appreciate feedback, and feel satisfied once you collected data to back up your ideas.

Desired Qualifications
  • Pursuing a degree in electrical, biomedical, or a similar engineering discipline
  • Comfortable analyzing and debugging electrical circuits, with underlying strength in math and physics
  • Understanding of basic statistical principles
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment: multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.

  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude

This is a 6 month co-op.
