Social Media, Communications and Marketing Intern

We are seeking a Social Media, Marketing and Communications Intern that will handle overall marketing (website, newsletter, member emails, meetings, workshops, podcasts, resources and communications) and social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, SnapChat, YouTube, Instagram and blogging), including generating content, moderating and building true engagement. The intern will also work on our overall communications, marketing, brand development, website development, crowd-funding campaign, support for various projects and forthcoming Campaign for Sustainability, Health, Equity and Kindness.

They should have a knowledge of sustainability, a commitment to practicing sustainability, health, equity and kindness, excellent writing and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, and extensive experience with all forms of social media, WordPress and Zoom. They will likely be working remotely and need to be self-motivated and responsible.

The hours and times of work are flexible (possibly 10-20 hours a week and possibly more over the summer) and this internship may offer the possibility of a full-time staff position. The intern will work with the President.
