Rotation Program – Technical Sales Engineer

If so, the Xilinx Technical Sales and Marketing Engineering Rotation Program is a great fit for you! We are looking for hardworking, tech-savvy and driven recent graduates or entry-level engineering professionals that are willing to learn and want to apply their technical degrees in a business role. 
In our challenging and collaborative program, you’ll get to use your specialized and creative skills to solve real business problems, build upon your technical knowledge, contribute to engineering projects and engage with customers while gaining valuable experience across multiple disciplines.
This is a full-time permanent position with a dedicated 18+ month development program that features meaningful and immersive rotations within our engineering, marketing and sales organizations. You will also receive comprehensive technical and communication skills training, opportunities to engage with senior leaders, and a dedicated coach.

  • Systems engineering
  • Applications engineering
  • Product line management and marketing
  • Vertical marketing
  • Sales
Participants will select a track at the beginning of the program, business or technical and at the end of the rotation program, they will be placed into one of several open positions within the respective Sales or Marketing organizations. Sales Engineering positions are located across the United States, while Marketing positions are based at our headquarters.

  • Technical Sales Engineer
  • Technical Marketing Engineer
  • Product Marketing Specialist
  • And more!
Education Requirements  
  • Bachelor's (BS) or Master’s (MS) degree from four-year college or university with a concentration in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • FPGA and Embedded design course work preferred, but not required
Qualifications  
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is essential
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to take the initiative, be proactive and drive for results
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Passion for technology and learning
  • For sales engineering track – must be willing to relocate at the end of the program within the U.S.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
 

Education Requirements
