Join our AmeriCorps VISTA team. Live and work in Pinetop AZ and provide outreach and education support that: Increases life skills, reduces substance abuse; saves lives; and builds stronger, healthier communities in Navajo County.

AmeriCorps VISTA is a national service program designed specifically to fight poverty. Founded as Volunteers in Service to America in 1965 VISTA has been on the front lines in the fight against poverty in America for over 50 years.

AmeriCorps VISTA members make a year-long, full time commitment to serve on a specific project at a nonprofit organization or public agency. With passion, commitment and hard work, VISTA members bring individuals and communities out of poverty.

Projects can vary and are not limited to: developing outreach and marketing campaigns, building a social media presence, creating a program database, writing grants, managing a program in its first year, and recruiting volunteers.

Benefits include: Professional Development, $100 monthly housing allowance, Choice of Education/Cash stipend at the end of the term.
