Digital Marketing Intern

You will work directly with the marketing team and be tasked to develop, test and execute innovative campaigns across social media channels. You will help influence and evolve our online voice, while gaining valuable experience working with a high-growth startup.  

What you’ll do:
  • Work with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute campaigns that create brand awareness, drive downloads, and build relationships with the Austin music and college communities.
  • Work with the marketing and design teams to brainstorm and execute fresh social media content inline with our brand image (as seen on our Instagram) to accomplish marketing goals 
  • Write copy for social media posts (Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook)
  • Manage the musx blog / Tastemaker Q&A (write questions & descriptions, format & post content) 
  • Research Austin music tastemakers and music industry trends to assist with outreach campaigns
  • Track social media analytics and interpret data to guide campaigns
  • Work closely with a team of passionate entrepreneurs, other students, and Austin music tastemakers

Qualifications / Skills:
  • Strong passion for music
  • Highly advanced communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong social media copywriting skills
  • Highly advanced knowledge of social media platforms and their features (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook)
  • Knowledge of trends influencing social media marketing 
  • Creativity and drive to bring fresh ideas to the table
  • Quick learner, highly organized, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting

Additional:
