Coordinator of Military and Veteran Services (Program/Student Advisor) (11004)

The Coordinator of Military and Veteran Services in the Military and Veteran Resource Center will assist the Director in the planning, coordination, implementation, organization, monitoring, and evaluation of services for Military and Veterans Services. The selected candidate will aid in conducting outreach for new veteran students, coordinate on and off campus veteran student activities, help veteran students navigate the federal and state resources available, and support the Veteran Students of America organization activities. Additionally, this position will support daily operations of the Military and Veteran Resource Center, attend military and veteran related events both on and off campus, coordinate military and veteran events, and provide administrative support to the department. Due to the professional duties of this position, some evening and weekend hours may be required.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Veteran with honorable discharge.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with VA educational benefits.
- Two (2) years of experience with veteran benefits/services.
