ENTRY LEVEL/FULL TIME: Mortgage Loan Funder

The Funder is a non-exempt position and is responsible for ordering wires and funding loans. The Funder will be trained on the following:

Essential Job Functions:

·        Review all source documents provided by the client for consistency
·        Verify any discrepancies with Lender / Title. If a Gregg & Valby closer prepared the Closing Package, confirm any discrepancies with our closer before reaching out to the lender
·        Add pertinent information in reference to any into GV Tracking
·        Prepare wire breakdown based on the Final CD provided by the investor or Gregg & Valby closer
·        Send wire breakdown to Title and lender to balance.
o  If Title does not respond by the end of the day still order the wire, and let title and lender know the wire has been ordered and they need to let Gregg & Valby know as soon as possible if they do not balance
·        Request wire order following Warehouse Banks guidelines, stay in constant communication with the Warehouse Bank to ensure the wire is delivered to the Title Company in a timely manner

Requirements:

·        Complete various cross-training assignments in the Fulfillment Department upon request, and assist other areas in the Fulfillment Department as needed
·        Must be open to working overtime within reasonable expectations, including, without limitation, arriving early, working through lunch, or working later than scheduled
·        Must be able to prioritize assignments and schedule workload to meet timeline requirements and maintain a variety of transactions
·        Reasonably prompt access to a reliable internet connection away from the office if required under extraordinary circumstances
·        Review executed loan documents for accuracy, compliance, and conformity with internal and external requirements
·        Communicate with clients and settlement agents regarding loan funding status
·        Inform clients, settlement agents, and colleagues regarding loan status
·        Promptly review funding documents and issue funding authorizations when appropriate

·        Excellent multi-tasking and organization skills to maintain a variety of transactions
