Job Summary:
Join our Intelligent Systems Division as an Intern! Support Analysts, Computer Scientists, and Engineers via Software development tasks on R&D projects across the Intelligent Systems group. The R&D projects are in the areas of transportation systems, smart cities and other critical system software. Potential areas of application include: machine learning, user interface design, cyber security, advanced traffic management systems, traveler information systems, or ITS devices. Education/Experience:
Must be currently enrolled in a BS program with an accredited university pursuing Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree with at least a 3.0 GPA. Must be from a local university to facilitate year-round employment (full-time during summer or co-op) and part-time during school year. Must have completed at least two or more years of under-graduate education. Must be familiar with software development. Skills desired include development tools to include Subversion, object oriented programming skills in C#, Java, WPF, and/or C++. Basic database query development using SQL. Web publishing and development skills in HTML and XML are a plus. Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite desired. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
