STUDENT ANALYST - STUDENT ASSISTANT-R&D - STUDENT ENGINEER - SPACE AVIONICS SUBSYSTEMS
Job Summary:
Work and collaborate with engineers simulating, building, and testing prototype electronic components and subsystems. With the support and supervision of full-time staff, tasks will involve varied aspects of electrical engineering from requirements analysis, researching component data sheets, and material selection to system, subsystem, and circuit design. Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR work in section. This position is a summer 2020 student role.
Education/Experience:
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited BS program in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Ability to read and understand basic electronics schematics, to design and build analog or digital circuits on at a minimum a basic level is required. Courses or experience in programming microcontrollers, FPGA’s, data acquisition systems, computer applications or simulation, hands-on projects involving analog electronics, microcontrollers, and FPGA’s, and knowledge of electronics equipment such as a DMM or O-Scope, and experience in the design, build, and testing functioning hardware is highly desired. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
