Basic Platform R&D Engineer

Job responsibility:

"Design and develop baidu application operation and maintenance basic components and platforms to support Baidu's own products and Baidu intelligent cloud customers, including the following directions: large-scale data collection, compression and transmission system;

Unified access and anti-attack system, traffic automatic scheduling system, distributed cache, distributed database, etc

-Design and develop the automatic management and decision platform of mass service cluster, including the following directions: distributed monitoring system, operation and maintenance data warehouse and data mining, authentication and authority control system, change system, business scheduling system, website speed optimization platform, etc

- Support system architecture optimization of Baidu products, improve system reliability, performance and scalability

- Explore and study the latest technical directions in the industry to enhance baidu's core competitiveness in intelligent cloud."

Requirement:

Have a strong interest in system architecture and back-end technology, and are keen to pursue technical perfection and innovation

- Deep understanding of data structure and algorithm design, proficient in at least one programming language in C/C++, Java and PHP

-Familiar with Linux/Unix operating system principles and network principles, proficient in using system layer to support application development

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, brave in solving difficult problems

- Highly motivated and eager to learn, good communication skills and team work spirit

-Chinese can be used as the working language(written & oral)

- One of the following criteria is preferred: distributed system theory and practice, experience in cloud computing-related components, active open source community, rich project experience.
