Computer Vision Algorithm R&D Engineer

Job responsibility:

Responsible for the research and development of baidu computer vision related technologies (including autonomous vehicle self-positioning, map reconstruction, image point cloud object recognition and classification algorithm, medical image AI analysis), systems and products

- including but not limited to: mobile image technology application, image content search, face detection and recognition, image classification and annotation, OCR, augmented reality, image quality evaluation, image processing, point cloud visual positioning, 3D visual reconstruction, object classification and recognition, etc

- Bringing technological innovation to hundreds of millions of users.

Requirement:

Creative thinking, imaginative, with an ideal and a sense of mission to advance AI

-Master basic algorithms of computer vision and image processing, and have in-depth research in one or more related directions as follows: application of mobile image technology, image content search, face detection and recognition, image classification and annotation, OCR, augmented reality, image quality evaluation, image processing, etc

-Understand the basic algorithms of machine learning, such as classification, regression, clustering, probability model, etc

- Familiar with and proficient in C/C++ and scripting language programming (such as Shell, Python, Perl, etc.)

- Good communication skill and team work spirit

- Chinese can be used as the working language(written & oral)

- Relevant practical experience preferred.
