Women In Film Internship

Women In Film Internships give opportunities to current college students who are interested in professional experience in the fields of film, television, media, journalism, sociology, education, or other humanities and/or are interested in a career in the non-profit sector.

Through these internships, which must count toward college credit, the Women In Film Interns will work within an office environment, with responsibilities in member services. community support, communications, event production, program tracking, and other organizational needs under the guidance of the Women In Film staff.

The internships are tailored to the needs of the student and the organization, with some interns supporting a particular department or program and others more generalized needs. Examples of the specializations: Film Finishing Fund Internship (supporting the Program Coordinator in tracking, vetting, and organizing submissions and judges), Legacy Program Internship (with a specialty in post production & digitizing/archiving media), Communications Internship (with a focus in member/community correspondence & social media), and Production Internship (with a focus on our events & Production Program).

The time commitment is based on the student's availability and credit requirements, and Women In Film is dedicated to working with our potential interns to find a schedule benefiting both parties.
