Activus Fellowship - private equity internship for business students

About the Fellowship

The Activus Fellowship is a semester-long program for a select group of business students seeking hands-on experience in the private equity market.

Activus Capital Partners is a new fund focused on acquiring privately-owned businesses in the lower middle market ($5M-$50M).

Our team includes a UT venture capitalist and real estate investor, a UT law school graduate and former big law attorney, and a Harvard private equity veteran. Our extensive advisor network encompasses professional athletes, entrepreneurs, founders, and executives in private equity, tech, and venture capital.

Activus Fellows will perform real work, not push paper or go on coffee runs. You’ll work side-by-side our partners and we’ll expect you to take a partner mentality focused on three key areas:

1. Pitching investment opportunities with growth potential in industries you believe in.
2. Conducting thesis-driven industry research and engaging directly with intermediaries to source and evaluate potential acquisitions that fit our investment criteria.
3. Leading the creation of financial models and investment committee memos where you’ll make your case for acquiring a specific company.

This position is fully remote and open to students in any location.
