(Remote) Image Editor
Screen Rant is the #1 independent movie/TV news website on the web, and our editorial team is looking for a photo editor to provide vibrant, eye-catching images to showcase our articles, social media, and other publishing platforms. We are especially interested in applicants who happen to be movie, TV, and gaming enthusiasts! We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Please note that this job is completely remote and can be done from anywhere!
Required skills:
- Experience with Photoshop or Illustrator
- Skilled in blending images, fan artwork, and photos
- Retouching skills
- Knowledge of popular movie/TV franchises: MCU, Star Wars, DC, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Produce branded content images
- Add meta image text fields
- Search hi-res image sources online
- Adhere to strict copyright guidelines
- Work in tandem with the editorial team to ensure their imaging needs are met
The ideal candidate would be a student or recent grad looking to gain experience and/or supplement their studies - familiarity with Screen Rant and its content would be considered an asset. Kindly include a portfolio showcasing your skills and abilities along with your application.
