Patient Services Coordinator

This position is crucial to developing our patients’ initial and lasting impression about our services. As the first point of contact for patients, the Patient Services Team sets the tone for the quality of our patient-practice relationship. This role is also vital to providing the Leadership Team with information about practice operations to inform short and long term practice decisions.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Scheduling appointments and calendar maintenance for 10+ providers
  • Communicating with patients regarding billing, scheduling, and insurance
  • Relaying information between doctors, therapists, and doctor's assistants to facilitate patient care
  • Working with patients in crafting complex appeal letters to assist in receiving insurance coverage
  • Assisting doctors in appointments and documenting patient history and transcribing in medical chart data
  • Performing other administrative duties as needed
  • Training will be provided

Work Schedule: 
  • 16-28 hours per week (minimum 4-hour shifts, M-F variable after 12:00pm)
  • Sat: 8:30am - 4:30pm (mandatory hours)
  • Able to rotate between Pecan Park and Westlake location based on patient needs
