Responsibilities

A Coding Instructor is a mentor who teaches kids about technology and coding. We host after-school programs on K-12 campuses, online, or in our coding studio. Requirements

What are we looking for?

Passion. We want teachers to be motivated and happy when students figure out a logic problem or demonstrate creativity. We look for people who appreciate the value of coding and want to pass it on.
Flexibility: Working with kids requires the ability to redirect them and go where they want to go. If half the class is not following, slow down. If they have all completed a project, have another idea in your back pocket to keep them engaged,
Tech Skills. Strong grasp of basic procedural programming is a plus. General knowledge of coding is preferred - Scratch, Python and Javascript are most helpful. Deep technical skills aren't required - we prefer you communicate well and find answers along with students.
Teaching Experience. Experience teaching kids in any subject is a plus.

If this sounds like a good fit, we look forward to talking to you!
